Window stickers
Printed backwards, so the street reads it forwards
The short answer: a window sticker belongs inside the glass. Printed in reverse on a clear film, it reads correctly from outside while the print sits protected from rain, cleaning and fingernails — and a removable adhesive lifts it in one piece when the promotion ends. Ordered by the piece: one shopfront, one sticker.
Materials
Four ways to put a message on glass

Clear polyester, removable
The shopfront standard: applied inside, read outside, lifted off cleanly at the end of the season. Opening hours, promotions, logos.
by the piece · from €216 / 100
Clear PVC, ultra-removable
Windscreen passes, permits, temporary notices. Comes away without effort and without residue — designed to be changed, not to last a decade.
by the piece · from €216 / 100
Permanent polyester
For the ones that stay: entrance logos, safety notices, opening hours that do not move. Same reverse printing, permanent adhesive.
by the piece · from €237 / 100
Die-cut vinyl, outside
When the glass cannot be reached from inside — display cases, kiosks, vehicles. Standard vinyl stickers, cut to your shape.
from €28 / 250Choosing
Inside or outside decides everything else
| Application | Printing | Material | Adhesive | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Inside the glass, changed often | Reverse | Clear polyester | Removable | Promotions, seasonal hours |
| Inside the glass, temporary | Reverse | Clear PVC | Ultra-removable | Passes, permits, notices |
| Inside the glass, permanent | Reverse | Clear polyester | Permanent | Entrance logo, safety notice |
| Outside the glass | Normal | Vinyl or polyester | Permanent | Display cases, vehicles |
| Glass you cannot mark at all | Normal | Blank window film | Removable | Printed in-house, changed weekly |
Tinted, frosted and laminated glass all take these adhesives, but a textured surface reduces contact — tell us the glass and we spec the adhesive rather than guessing.
Two things that set this range apart from the rest of the catalogue. Quantity: window graphics are quoted by the piece — a single door, a single windscreen, a single window is a normal order, where a printed label starts at 100. Size: the standard label dies stop at 300 × 350 mm, but window work is produced well beyond that — a full shopfront panel or a door-height graphic is quoted on the measurements you send us.
The detail everyone discovers late
On glass, white is a colour you have to print
Four-colour printing has no white ink by default: on paper, the white is the paper. On a clear film there is no paper — so pale tints turn transparent, white text disappears, and a logo designed on a white background becomes a faint outline against a lit interior.
The fix is an opaque white layer printed under the colours, either across the whole design or only where it is needed. It is a normal part of the job here, decided on your proof — but it is the reason a cheap window sticker often looks washed out on the actual window.

Festival parking, exhibitor access, temporary signage — short runs that exist for one weekend and come off the glass afterwards.
FAQ
Window stickers — what shops ask us
Can I order just one window sticker?
Yes. Window graphics are the exception in our catalogue: they are quoted by the piece, because a shop has one door and a van has one windscreen. Printed labels start at 100 per design; a single reverse-printed window sticker is a normal order — send the measurements and we price it.
How large can a window sticker be?
Far larger than a label. The standard label dies stop at 300 × 350 mm, but window work is produced well beyond that — a full shopfront panel or a door-height graphic is quoted on the measurements you send, and split into panels where the glass demands it.
What is a reverse-printed window sticker?
It is printed as a mirror image on the adhesive side of a clear film, so the sticker is applied inside the glass and read correctly from the street. The print sits behind the glass, protected from rain, cleaning and anyone picking at a corner — which is why shops, offices and vehicles use it rather than an outside sticker.
Do I have to send my artwork mirrored?
No. Send the design the way you want it read; we mirror it for production and show it the right way round on your proof. The only thing worth checking on your side is that the text is large enough to be read from where your customers actually stand.
Will a window sticker leave marks when I take it off?
Not with the adhesives used for this range. Removable and ultra-removable adhesives are designed for glass: the sticker lifts in one piece and leaves no film to scrape off, which matters when the message changes with the season or the promotion. A permanent version exists for stickers meant to stay for years.
Will pale colours show on glass?
Only with a white backing behind them. On a clear film, whatever is behind the glass shows through the print, so pale tints and white text disappear against a bright interior. We print an opaque white layer under the colours where the design needs it — the difference between a legible window and a ghost of one.
Can window stickers be numbered?
Yes — parking passes, access permits and season stickers are commonly printed with a sequential number, a barcode or a unique QR code in the same run, from 100 units. It is what makes a pass checkable at the barrier and a copy obvious.
Printed on both faces, double-sided labels speak to the street and to the shop at once.
