Terms of sale
The short answer: we print to the proof you approve, we invoice the quantity you ordered, and nothing goes on press before your approval. The rest of this page is the detail behind those three sentences.
Version of 14 August 2026. These terms apply to orders placed from that date.
1. Who you are contracting with
Tagsfab is a brand of Oficio Group. Depending on your country of delivery and invoicing, your order is fulfilled and invoiced by Oficio France SAS or by Oficio Ltd. The company identified on your order confirmation and invoice is your counterparty — which also decides the law applicable to the sale, set out in clause 11. Full identification of both companies appears in the legal notice.
These terms apply to business customers. Goods sold on this site are manufactured to your specification and to your artwork, and are therefore personalised goods.
2. Prices
All prices shown on this site are in euros, excluding VAT and excluding delivery. VAT is applied according to your country and status at the time of invoicing. Delivery is quoted with the order.
Prices shown by the configurator apply to the material, format, finish, adhesive and quantity selected. A quotation issued by us is valid for the period stated on it. Prices may be updated on the site at any time; the price applicable to your order is the one confirmed in your order confirmation.
3. Orders, artwork and proof
An order is formed when we confirm it. Before production we check your artwork and issue a proof showing your design at final size with the cut line indicated.
Nothing is printed before you approve that proof, and the production time announced for your order runs from your approval, not from the date of the order. An approval given on a proof is an approval of the content: the text, the figures, the codes and any legal mentions it carries.
Our file check covers what a printer can check — resolution, bleed and safety margins, colour mode, the legibility of the smallest text, whether a barcode or a QR code will scan, and whether a transparent stock needs a white layer. It does not cover the substance of your content: ingredient lists, nutritional values, regulatory mentions, translations or environmental claims remain your responsibility.
You warrant that you hold the rights to the artwork, the images, the trade marks and the texts you send us, and that their reproduction infringes no third-party right.
4. Quantity tolerance
Label production is a continuous process and a run cannot be stopped at an exact figure. A tolerance of plus or minus 5 % on the quantity ordered is therefore accepted as conforming, in line with the practice of the trade. You are invoiced for the quantity ordered, whatever falls inside that tolerance — there is no adjustment in either direction.
Runs carrying variable data — numbering, unique codes, name lists — are delivered complete, since every item is unique.
5. Colour and materials
A screen is backlit and a label is not: a difference between what you see on your monitor and what you receive is not a defect. Where a colour is critical, tell us before the run and we will say what is achievable on the chosen stock.
Variations inherent to the materials — the grain of an uncoated paper, the shade of a recycled or fibre stock, the shine of a metallised film — are characteristics of the product, not defects. Slight colour differences may also occur between two runs of the same job, printed at different times.
6. Production and delivery
Announced production times are 2 to 10 working days for labels and 4 to 8 working days for die-cut stickers, counted from proof approval, plus transit. They are given in good faith and are not guaranteed dates unless we have confirmed a firm date in writing for your order.
Risk passes on delivery. Please check the parcel and its contents on arrival — see delivery.
7. Claims
Any claim relating to a visible defect or a non-conforming delivery must reach us within eight days of delivery, with photographs and your order reference, and before the goods are used or applied. Goods must be kept available for inspection.
Where a claim is accepted, our liability is limited, at our option, to the reprinting of the non-conforming goods or to a credit of their invoiced value. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of production or the cost of packaging on which our labels have been applied.
As the goods are made to your specification, they are not eligible for return or exchange for convenience, and no right of withdrawal applies to personalised goods.
8. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, orders are payable before production. Where payment terms have been agreed, late payment carries interest at the statutory rate applicable to the invoicing entity, together with any fixed recovery charge provided by law.
The goods remain our property until full payment of the price.
9. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for a failure caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including interruption of supply of materials, industrial action, energy failure or transport disruption. Where such an event lasts more than sixty days, either party may cancel the affected order.
10. Data
Personal data collected in connection with an order is processed as described in our privacy notice.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Tagsfab sells through two companies, and the law that applies to your order is the law of the one that invoices it. The company is named on your order confirmation and on your invoice, so you always know which of the two lines below is yours before you pay anything.
| If your invoice is issued by | Governing law | Courts |
|---|---|---|
| Oficio Ltd — United Kingdom | the law of England and Wales | the courts of England and Wales |
| Oficio France SAS — France and European Union | French law | the courts of Paris |
Which company invoices you follows your country of delivery and invoicing, not your choice. Nothing above removes a mandatory protection that the law of your own country gives you.
Questions on any clause above: use the contact form before ordering rather than after. We publish no e-mail address — the form reaches the same people and keeps a trace.
