Number your bottles, add a unique QR code per bottle for authenticity or cellar tracking, or print your allocation list name by name. Variable data is printed in the same run — from 100 labels, no plates, no re-run fees — whatever the size of the edition: a hundred bottles or two hundred thousand.

Wine labels — what buyers ask us
Which paper is best for wine labels?
Textured papers (laid, Tintoretto, felt-marked) are the classic choice for still wines; coated paper suits modern, photography-led designs; kraft signals natural and organic wines. For bottles served in ice buckets, choose a wet-strength paper such as Aquaproof or a synthetic film — standard papers wrinkle within minutes in melting ice.
Do my wine labels survive an ice bucket?
Only if the material is designed for it. We recommend Aquaproof film (a polyethylene-based wet-strength material) or a laminated synthetic. Standard coated or textured paper absorbs water and wrinkles.
Can I number the bottles of a limited edition?
Yes. Sequential numbering (bottle 001/500), unique QR codes and barcodes are printed in the same run, from 100 labels. You provide the starting number — or a data file for names and unique codes.
What is the minimum order for custom wine labels?
100 labels per design. Pricing is degressive: the first hundred carries the setup, every additional hundred is charged at a much lower running rate.
What size should a wine bottle label be?
Common front labels run from 75 × 105 mm to 100 × 105 mm for a bordelaise, and around 75 × 85 mm for a bourguignonne. Any shape up to 150 × 105 mm — see the size table above or the size guide.
For a gilded cuvée, gold-ground labels print colour straight onto metal — and embossed Luce adds a relief you can read with a thumb.
