The short answer: a windscreen pass is printed mirrored on clear PVC and applied inside the glass, so it reads correctly from the street and cannot be picked at from outside. The ultra-removable adhesive comes away without residue when the season ends. From €216 per 100, numbered in the same run.

Why inside the glass
Weather on one side, fingernails on the other
A sticker applied outside a windscreen meets rain, wipers, frost scrapers and anyone who fancies moving it to another car. Applied inside, the print sits behind six millimetres of glass: nothing reaches it, and taking it off requires being in the vehicle. For a parking permit, that last point is the entire security model.
Which is why these are printed mirrored, on the adhesive face. Send the artwork the way you want it read — we mirror it for production and show it the right way round on the proof.

Three details that decide it works
Legibility, numbering, removal
Print the white
Behind the glass sits a dark interior. Without an opaque white layer, pale colours and white text vanish — the most common reason a pass is unreadable at a barrier.
Number every pass
A pass without a number proves nothing: it can be copied or moved. Sequential numbers or a QR code are printed in the same run, from 100 units.
Say when it comes off
Ultra-removable is designed for a season. If a permit stays two years on a hot windscreen, ask for the permanent version instead — removal is then a scraper job.

FAQ
Windscreen passes — what customers ask us
Do I have to mirror my artwork?
No. Send it the way it should be read; we mirror it for production and show it correctly on the proof. The only thing to check on your side is that the text is large enough to be read from where the pass will actually be inspected.
Will it leave marks on the windscreen?
Not with the ultra-removable adhesive: it lifts in one piece and leaves no film to scrape. That is what makes it right for permits that change every season, and why we do not supply a permanent adhesive by default on this product.
Can each pass carry a different number?
Yes — sequential numbers, barcodes or unique QR codes printed in the run from 100 units. It is what makes a pass checkable at a barrier and a duplicate obvious. See numbered labels.
How long does it last on a windscreen?
A season comfortably, which is what it is designed for. Behind glass it is protected from rain and wipers, but a windscreen in full sun gets hot: over two or three years the ultra-removable adhesive hardens and removal becomes less clean.
Can it be bigger than a standard label?
Yes. Like the rest of the window range, large-format glass work is produced well beyond the standard label dies and quoted on the measurements you send — and it is one of the rare products we sell by the piece.
