The short answer: bright white, fully waterproof, and flexible enough to follow the curve of a can or a bottle without a wrinkle. White polypropylene is the default answer for drinks, cosmetics and anything that meets condensation — thirteen combinations of protection and adhesive, from €196 per 100 — or €175 in the repositionable grade.

The choice inside the choice
Permanent, removable or reinforced?
White PP is one material with three quite different behaviours, and the adhesive is where most of the decision sits. Permanent for a product label that stays for the life of the pack. Removable for promotions, seasonal claims and anything that has to come off a glass bottle without a fight. Reinforced for cold, damp or slightly textured surfaces where an ordinary adhesive only half grips.
All three cost the same. What does change the price is the protection: unvarnished at the bottom, a gloss varnish a few euros above, and gloss or matt lamination — identical prices — for labels that are handled daily. On a film, some protection is not optional: the material is waterproof but the ink printed on it is not.

Shapes it can take
The long dies nobody expects
Beyond the usual rectangles, white PP is cut in long narrow formats — up to 60 × 450 mm — which is what a wrap-around band, a neck seal or a cable marker needs. It is the only material in the catalogue with that shape range, and it is worth knowing before a design is drawn to fit a die that does not exist.
Wrap-around bands
Up to 450 mm long and 60 mm wide. Enough for a slim bottle, a jar band or a tamper band — not enough for a full 33 cl can wrap, which is a custom order.

Every size up to 100 × 105 mm, any die-cut shape, round and oval included at no extra cost.
With variable data
White PP is one of the stocks that carries numbering, barcodes and unique QR codes printed in the run — from + €112 per 100.

White PP — what customers ask us
Is white polypropylene really waterproof?
The film is, completely — it does not absorb, swell or tear when wet. The ink on top of it is the vulnerable part, which is why a varnish or a lamination is part of the specification rather than an upsell. With one, the label survives a fridge, a shower and a rainy loading bay.
Which adhesive should I choose?
Permanent for a label that stays with the product. Removable when it has to come off a glass bottle cleanly — promotions, seasonal claims, returnable packaging. Reinforced for cold, damp or slightly textured surfaces. All three are the same price, so it is a technical choice rather than a budget one.
Can it wrap right around a can?
Not in the standard dies. The long formats reach 60 × 450 mm, which covers bands, neck seals and slim bottles; a full 200 × 100 mm can wrap sits outside them and is quoted as a custom request. Say what the can is and we price the die.
Gloss or matt lamination?
Same price, so choose on looks: gloss deepens the colours and suits drinks, matt kills reflections and reads more expensive on cosmetics. The protection also decides how the label survives handling, so it is worth choosing deliberately rather than by default.
How does it compare with polyester?
White polyester is more rigid and more resistant to abrasion and UV — the industrial and outdoor answer, from €173. Polypropylene is more flexible and follows curves better, which is why drinks and cosmetics use it. A repositionable grade sits slightly lower at €175, in the functional range. On a flat, exposed surface choose polyester; on a bottle, choose PP.
