Dishwasher-Safe Labels · Functional
Hot water, detergent, and the label is still there
The short answer: a coated paper engineered to stay bonded and stay readable through a wash cycle at 80 °C. It is the specification for reusable containers, catering equipment and laboratory glassware — the places where an ordinary label turns into a grey smear after two washes. From €221 per 100.
Any shape within this size — rectangle, round, oval or custom die-cut.

Two opposite requirements
Washable, or removed by washing — decide first
« It goes in the dishwasher » covers two contradictory needs, and ordering the wrong one is the most common mistake on this product.
Survive the wash: the label belongs to the container and must still be there after a hundred cycles — an asset number on a laboratory bottle, an allergen notice on a catering tray. That is this stock, at €221 per 100.
Disappear in the wash: the label belongs to the contents and must come off when the container is returned and cleaned — a deposit jar, a rental crate. That is the water-removable paper at €248 per 100, which dissolves its bond deliberately.

FAQ
Washable labels — what customers ask us
How many wash cycles does it survive?
Enough for the service life of a reusable container in normal catering or laboratory use. What ends a label is rarely one hot cycle but abrasion — labels rubbed by other items in the rack age faster than labels on a smooth outer face.
Is it dishwasher safe for consumers?
It is designed for professional wash cycles at 80 °C, which are harsher than a domestic dishwasher. On consumer products the practical limit is usually the container, not the label.
Can I have it on a plastic container?
Yes, and it is the usual case. On a strongly curved or moulded container, ask for a film instead — see polyethylene — since a rigid paper will lift at the corners before the wash ever gets to it.
What if I want the opposite — a label that goes away in the wash?
Then you want the water-removable paper. It is built to release in the wash and leave nothing behind, for deposit and returnable systems. Ordering one for the other is the classic mistake on this range.
Does the print survive as well as the adhesive?
Yes — the coating holds the ink through hot water and detergent. Where a label is scrubbed rather than washed, add a lamination: it costs about €26 more per 100 and doubles the abrasion resistance. See lamination.
A hundred wash cycles later, it still says what it said.
Washable coated paper, 80 °C, from €221 per 100.
