Dishwasher-Safe Labels · Functional
Hot water, detergent, and the label is still there
The short answer: a smooth white polypropylene with a reinforced adhesive, printed in UV inkjet, built to go through dishwasher after dishwasher without fading or peeling. It also goes in the microwave. It is the specification for reusable containers, crockery hire, school canteens and branded mugs or bottles — the places where an ordinary label turns into a grey smear after two washes. From £167 per 100.
Any shape within this size — rectangle, round, oval or custom die-cut.

Two opposite requirements
Washable, or removed by washing — decide first
« It goes in the dishwasher » covers two contradictory needs, and ordering the wrong one is the most common mistake on this product.
Survive the wash: the label belongs to the container and must still be there cycle after cycle — a container number on a returnable jar, an allergen notice on a catering tray. That is this stock, at £167 per 100.
Disappear in the wash: the label belongs to the contents and must come off when the container is returned and cleaned — a deposit jar, a rental crate. That is the water-removable paper at £210 per 100, which dissolves its bond deliberately.

FAQ
Dishwasher-safe labels — what customers ask us
How many wash cycles does it survive?
It is made for repeated dishwasher cycles, over the service life of a reusable container. What ends a label is rarely one hot cycle but abrasion — labels rubbed by other items in the rack age faster than labels on a smooth outer face.
Can it go in the microwave — and in the oven?
The microwave, yes. A conventional oven, no: polypropylene does not withstand oven temperatures. If the container also goes in the oven, look at our high-temperature labels, rated up to 200 °C, and tell us about the dishwasher as well, since it is a different test.
Can I have it on a glass or plastic container?
Yes — glass, ceramic or rigid plastic. Polypropylene is a film, so it follows a gentle curve better than a paper; on a strongly tapered or moulded shape, send us the container dimensions through the custom request.
What if I want the opposite — a label that goes away in the wash?
Then you want the water-removable paper. It is built to release in the wash and leave nothing behind, for deposit and returnable systems. Ordering one for the other is the classic mistake on this range.
Does the print survive as well as the adhesive?
Yes — it is printed in UV-cured inkjet, which bonds to the film and gives a result close to screen printing. It needs no protective lamination to go through the wash.
Wash after wash, it still says what it said.
Dishwasher-resistant white polypropylene, from £167 per 100.
