Creative & textured paper labels

The label you can feel before you read it

The short answer: textured papers are chosen with the fingers — kraft, laid, felt-marked Tintoretto, pearlescent, deep black — and they are the natural home of gold and silver hot foil, from 100 labels. They are not made for water: for a bottle that goes into ice, take the wet-strength paper in this range or a film.

Textured label papers in kraft, laid and pearlescent finishes

The range

Six textures, six intentions

Deep black paper label with gold hot foil
Hot foil

Deep black

A dense black throughout the sheet, not printed on top. Gold or silver foil on it is the strongest contrast a label can offer.

from €169 / 100
Pearlescent label paper catching the light

Pearlescent

A shimmer that shifts with the light, in white or grey. Cosmetics, spirits, gift ranges — anything that should look expensive on a shelf.

from €180 / 100
Wet-strength paper label on a bottle in ice
Ice-bucket proof

Aquaproof

The feel of paper, the behaviour of a film: hours in melting ice without a wrinkle. The answer for producers who refuse a plastic look.

from €184 / 100
Natural kraft paper label
Natural

Natural kraft

Unbleached, fibrous, honest. Farm produce, soap, coffee, craft ranges — and it takes black or foil far better than it takes photographs.

from €205 / 100
Laid paper label with visible ribbing

Laid & ribbed

The fine parallel lines of traditional writing paper, in white or cream. The classic estate wine look, and a natural home for engraved-style typography.

from €205 / 100
Tintoretto felt-marked paper label

Tintoretto

A heavier felt-marked surface with real relief, white or ivory. The paper people pick up and turn over without knowing why.

from €205 / 100

Also in the range: grey pearlescent and a premium bright white for high-end packaging. 30 sizes up to 150 × 105 mm, any die-cut shape, 100 to 10 000 online and more on quotation.

Full colour, 55 × 70 mm, unvarnished — die, setup and printing included. Textured papers sit slightly above coated stock at 100 labels, and the gap narrows as the run grows.

FAQ

Creative papers — what customers ask us

Can I have gold foil on only 100 labels?

Yes. Hot foil stamping in gold or silver starts at 100 labels, from €169 per 100 on deep black paper. Foil is pressed into the paper with heat and a die, not printed, which is why it catches the light the way a printed gold never does — and why it is worth the difference on a bottle or a gift range.

Which textured paper should I choose for wine?

Laid paper for a classic estate look, Tintoretto for a heavier felt-marked texture, kraft for farmhouse and natural ranges, deep black with gold foil for prestige cuvées. All of them take hot foil well. What none of them survive is an ice bucket — for that, use the wet-strength aquaproof paper or a synthetic film.

Do textured papers take numbering or barcodes?

No — variable data runs on coated papers, synthetic, industrial and security films, not on creative stocks. If you need both a textured paper and a numbered series, tell us in a custom request and we look at the run with you rather than promising it online.

Are creative papers water resistant?

No. They are uncoated or lightly varnished papers chosen for their texture, so they mark with water and wrinkle in condensation. The exception in this range is aquaproof, a wet-strength film with the feel of paper that survives hours in melting ice — the compromise for producers who refuse a plastic look.

Does an ivory or cream tint cost more than white?

No. Tinted laid and Tintoretto stocks are the same price as their white versions, and the tint often does more for a label than an extra printed colour would. Choosing it is a design decision, not a budget one.

Texture is the cheapest luxury on a shelf.
